Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that it has hired Scott Watson as Senior Vice President, GTA West.  Mr. Watson will join the existing Jones Lang LaSalle team and will be responsible for growing the firm's capabilities in tenant representation and agency leasing.  In addition to Scott's appointment, we are also pleased to welcome Glenn Thackeray and Tyler Kenny who join the team as part of the firm's continuing efforts to strengthen and grow its presence in the growing GTA suburban market.

Mr. Watson has ten years experience in suburban office leasing focusing on landlord and national tenant representation.  He was named "winner of the 2009 NAIOP Developing Leader Award" for those 35 years or under, who distinguish themselves with great promise as leaders in the commercial real estate industry and for their community involvement.

Scott comes to Jones Lang LaSalle from a leading brokerage firm where he held a series of advancing roles, most recently as Vice President.  Scott has completed over 400 assignments and is well respected within the Toronto real estate community.  Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Western Ontario.

Glenn Thackeray is appointed as Sales Representative, Office Leasing at Jones Lang LaSalle.  Glenn's focus has been on suburban office leasing mandates for leading landlords across suburban Toronto.  Recent assignments include being leasing portfolio manager for Standard Life's one million square foot Metro West portfolio. Mr. Thackeray holds an Honours BA in Geography and Urban Development from the University of Western Ontario. 

Tyler Kenny is appointed as Sales Representative, Office Leasing at Jones Lang LaSalle.  Tyler's focus is on suburban tenant representation for expansion, renewal and subleasing assignments.  Mr. Kenny holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island.
