VANCOUVER, Sept. 6, 2011 — As part of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Canada growth strategy, the firm has appointed Tim Gilmour as Senior Vice President for the firm’s Project and Development Services (PDS) team in Vancouver. He will focus on providing clients in Greater Vancouver with project management services for renovation and construction projects, including managing construction budgets and schedules, site roll out and construction team management.
“As client demand grows for our specialist project management services, we had to grow our expertise,” said John Rosato who heads the PDS team in Canada. “Bringing Tim to our team adds the right knowledge and experience that our clients in the Vancouver region require.”
Gilmour brings 15-years of experience in managing all phases of multimillion dollar ground-up construction, facilities maintenance and renovation projects. He joins from Joey Restaurant Group where he was Director of Construction and Facilities. Prior to this, he was with Best Buy Canada.
He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor of arts degree in geography. He also holds a master’s of administration from San Diego State University, as well as a diploma of technology in business administration from British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Earlier this year, Jones Lang LaSalle opened its first Vancouver office hiring three industry veterans, Ray Ahrens as Executive Vice President, Norm Taylor and Gavin Reynolds join as Senior Vice Presidents. In Vancouver Jones Lang LaSalle provides commercial real estate brokerage services including landlord and tenant representation for leasing as well as investment and occupier acquisition and sales.
